Christmas Tablescape

I was in a simple kind of mood when I set out to do our holiday decorating this year.  I didn't want stuff everywhere.  I didn't want to over think it.  And most importantly, I wanted to use what we had.  Thus this very simple tablescape was born.

The only thing I bought were those red feather stems (from Hobby Lobby).  I made the placemats back in November (if you remember, I majorly failed at making placemats during Shut Up and Sew, but I learned from my mistakes and was actually successful!  Tutorial coming after the holidays.).  The napkins, table runner, and napkin rings were all collected during after-Christmas clearance sales the past few years.

I had big plans to make a new Christmas card holder, but ran out of time/motivation, so I've just been clipping our cards to these wreaths in the dining room using tiny clothespins.  It's simple (that's my buzz word this season) and easy.

Hope you guys have a fantastic weekend!  I have one more present to make and then I'm throwing in the towel and savoring the last few days of the season.
