About a month ago, I won a fabulous giveaway over on 4 Men 1 Lady for a beach-themed print by Jesse Miller. I was hoping I would win so badly because I loved Jesse's style. I thought choosing which one I wanted would be hard, but I should know myself by now... I'm pretty decisive and I know exactly what I like. I chose Pier Sunset, paid a little extra for a larger print, and it was waiting for me when we returned from Hawaii. Well, I finally got around to buying a frame for it last week (50% off at HobLob - woo hoo!) but it looked lonely hanging all by itself so I picked up a couple more frames at Target (on clearance - woo hoo again!) and got them all hung last night.
Of course they ended up in our bedroom where the colors in the print match perfectly.
I raided my stash of photos and pulled out the only two 8x10s I had to fill the smaller frames. They will probably get replaced soon with some more beachy prints I've been eyeing. The photo on the left is one of my and Steven's engagement photos, and the one on the right is (obvs) me with my bridesmaids on my wedding day.
The print came matted. Simply gorgeous.
Finally, this wall holds art that makes my heart smile.
While I was at Target picking up frames, I came across this cutie little plaque that was 50% off - only $4! The colors were perfect for our bedroom, so I snatched it up. When I got home, I realized that it would look great in our bathroom where it would mirror the square hooks on the other wall and bring out the dark brown tones in my Target towels.
The photo is another one of our engagement pics.
I love when I finally find the perfect thing for a space.
What have you been hanging lately?
