Happy Monday friends! It's a rainy rainy day here so my original plan to blog about our freshly planted flowers had to be put on hold (sad!). Lucky for you, I somehow forgot to blog about my newly acquired antiques, even though I took these photos weeks ago. At least, I think I forgot. If you've already seen these, I apologize, but I couldn't find them in my archives, so I'm fairly certain I didn't post them. Anywho, enough about my forgetfulness!
For St. Patrick's Day, me and Steven and a few friends headed up to Pigeon Forge, TN. We ended up spending most of the day Saturday antiquing and even went to an auction (where we bid on an awesome gum ball machine with a stand but sadly got outbid).
I picked up this antique crock for $53 (which is actually a really good deal, as I've seen similar crocks for $70-$80).
I love the little birdy!
While I loved it here in the living room, I've since moved it down to the basement, beside our TV stand, where I think it looks more at home.
I also got a new (not antique) table runner at this cool little pottery store that we always stop at on our way out of town.
I got the two itty bitty blue ball jars for $11 total, and I think they're just about the cutest thing EVER.
I love the pattern and the colors of this table runner so much.
Do you guys love antiques stores as much as I do? You just never know what goodness you'll find!
