These chalkboard walls I painted in my craft room are seriously the best and most fun thing I've ever done to my house. I love drawing on them... it's so therapeutic. That being said, I've created another design that I thought I'd share with you guys.
Oh, and I hung some funky wavy mirrors from IKEA.
I set out to cover both walls with words, but I ran out of steam after the first one. And anyway, I think I like it better this way.
It's a mixture of movie quotes, random inspirational quotes, and song lyrics. I got a number of them from AFI's 100 Years... 100 Movie Quotes, and the rest came straight from my head. I only chose ones that meant to something to me. These are quotes from my most favorite movies and song lyrics that always get stuck in my head (I love Tangled, and the line I chose from Rapunzel's first song will stay in my head for hours and hours after hearing it. Seriously.) Steven's first comment after seeing them was, "How long did it take you to do that?!" It only took a couple hours over two days, and it makes me happy every time I see it. I'm in love with these walls.
In case you don't want to squint to try to read the whole thing, I've typed it out for you:
