Thanksgiving is two weeks from today. Can you believe it? I'm already feeling the itch to pull out my Christmas decorations, but I'm holding off because Thanksgiving deserves its time in the spotlight too!
I pinned this photo a while back and just knew that some form of this would end up on my dining table.
Here's my take.
I had a pack of scrapbook paper that I picked up at TJ Maxx a while back for the simple reason that it was so cheap! I think the whole pack was $6 for tons of beautiful papers. I picked out the papers I wanted to use, then let my Cricut cut the letters for me. I used my circle cutter for the white paper and the wavy blade of my rotary paper cutter for the squares. I glued the letters to the circles and the circles to the squares, and in about 10 minutes, all my letters were assembled! I hot glued them to popsicle sticks and stuck each one in a mason jar, half-full with split peas.
The best part about it? It was super cheap! A few bucks for some burlap and a few bucks for some split peas, and voila - a very thankful tablescape.
