We saw Killers, with Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl, yesterday. It was an okay movie. I mean, I didn't fall asleep or anything, but it definitely doesn't rank in my top 100 movies of all time. Hmm, I should make that list for a blog post sometime, but I don't know if I could think of 100 movies off the top of my head, much less rank them. Let's just put it this way, Killers left a lot to be desired. On the plus side, though, Ashton Kutcher has never been hotter. He's shirtless in one of the opening scenes and omg, he has 12-pack abs. Seriously, if you're thinking about going to see it, it's worth it just to see him with his shirt off. I think what made the movie sub-par was that there was no real chemistry between Ashton and Katherine. Sure, they had sexy scenes, but I didn't buy it.
After the movie, we walked around the art festival at Crocker Park. There were some really neat booths. I especially liked the pop art by Kelly Zalenski (check out her web site). I'm thinking about doing some artwork for our house now. I'm not that great of an artist, but I'm creative, and that counts for something, right? And besides, if my paintings are terrible, no one ever has to see them.
